To The Heights: Quarry Trail- Auburn State Recreation Area

Hike with us on President's day along American River Canyon and catch glimpses of caves and remnants of mining. The trail is easily walkable, strollers can come too! It's a doubleback trail and goes along a former railroad route that was once used to transport limestone. 
Bonus:If you need a hike for your history class on Auburn's Limestone Mining past, this is the hike for you ;)

Distance: 3.5 miles one-way-7 miles round trip
Difficulty: Easy

8am-Mass St. Rose in Roseville
9am- Carpool Leaves St. Rose
10am- Begin Quarry Trail
12pm Pray the Angelus & Lunch
3pm-Finish Trail- Head back to Church & get Dinner for fellowship...

Bring a sack lunch or snacks, plenty of water and money for carpool and parking.

Everyone welcome, please let us know if you will be meeting at the trail head and remember that timing is all tentative and can change, if you cannot be flexible please drive your own car.

Parking: $10. Quarry Trail head has a small parking lot. Free with California State Parks annual pass. If there is no parking at this lot park past the bridge and walk to trail head.
