Auburn
Date:
Sunday, April 30, 2017 - 10:30am to 5:00pm

Join us for a leisurely Sunday 4 mile (Out and Back) Hike on the Robie Point firebreak trail in Auburn.

It's a trail that provides great views of the North Fork American River canyon and the Auburn Dam construction site, including the diversion tunnel. With Spring in full bloom and lots of water from recent rain, it sure will be a scenic path with beautiful views! Although the trail is steep at the southern end, it is otherwise fairly gentle and passes through three of the most common American River canyon ecosystems: foothill woodlands, riparian woodlands, and chaparral. There is poison oak/ivy on the trail.

Please bring a sack lunch or snack and money for your carpool driver.
