Join us for an Advent retreat in the desert of San Diego with the Community of Saint John. This is a Marian retreat and our days will be ordered around times of silence, adoration, chanted Offices, Mass, and spiritual conferences while hiking through the desert with the Brothers and Sisters of St. John. We will enter fully into a climate of fraternal charity and fellowship. We have two different tracks this year:
Track 1 The Classic: A three-day camping retreat with two-all day hikes
Track 2 Backpacking: New this year! A four-day backpacking retreat making camp on trail
Both tracks require the ability to sustain either two rigorous, all-day hikes or a full weekend of backpacking through the Anza Borrego Desert.
