In the Flesh: Theology of the Body Discovered.

Can God be revealed through the human body?

Whether you're a seasoned TOBer or just curious, you won't want to miss this all new, twice monthly study series that will journey to the heart of St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body. More than just DVD & discussion based, we'll break open the primary texts as well as cover the patristic & scholastic precursors to John Paul II on the human person, love, and sexuality. In this, we hope to show that the Theology of the Body is not only a groundbreaking development in Catholic thought, but a faithful reflection of of the Church's perennial teaching on God and the human person. Along the way, you'll discover the meaning of true love, the keys to happy relationships, the nature of the human family, and much more. In short... your mind will be blown.

Non-Catholics welcome too. Bring a notebook. No cost to attend. Refreshments provided.
Hosts: Mike Breiling, Scott Roth & surprise special guests (priestly and lay).

We're meeting every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in the Garden Room of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Folsom.
