After seven years in the Diocesan Seminary, Joshua Keeney has a story to tell.

Don't miss his moving testimony where no question is off limits. We'll discuss keys to discerning a vocation, struggles, life after seminary, and how a God of second chances can write straight with crooked lines in your life.

Joshua Keeney was born and raised in Tracy, CA where he attended Catholic grade school (where he first felt the promptings to discern a call to the priesthood) and public high school (where he first felt the promptings to avoid the priesthood). He grew up playing a variety of sports, spending a lot of time with friends, and nominally living out his Catholic faith. After high school, he attended CSU Sacramento where he studied Criminal Justice, had a reversion to his Catholic faith, and eventually discerned his call to enter the seminary. He left for the seminary after his third year of college and studied for the Diocese of Sacramento for seven years. He eventually discerned out after the Spring 2017 semester and will teach theology at Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco. He looks forward to sharing his story and hearing your questions (but only the good ones).

Here's the Facebook Invite.

As always, any young adult, 18-39, Catholic or not, is welcome to attend.

Thanks to our friends at Monk's Cellar for hosting us every month. The drinks are on us. But you buying food is the best way to thank them for their hospitality. So come hungry. And come early for a good seat. It will be packed.
