Topic: Cantate Domino: Music and the Mass
The last fifty years have seen a dramatic shift in music at the Mass, and the current state of music at many of our parishes throughout the country and the world is confusing, if not downright abysmal. Fr. Matthew will consider the current state of affairs in our parishes, the vision the Church has for the role of music of the liturgy, and practical steps towards restoring beauty and mystery to the Mass. Whether you're musical or not, this is sure to be a lively discussion about an aspect of the Mass that affects us all!
