Stanislaus National Forest's Westside Rails is a hidden treasure, combining spectacular scenery(views & wildflowers) and a route that represents an amazing feat of railway construction. An old railtrail that used to bring timber to a mill runs along this trail which adds to its beauty and character.
We will take the trial 3 miles in and then 3 miles back.

8:30am Mass at St. Mels in Fair Oaks
9:30 Carpool Leaves St. Mels to West Side Rails
12:30 Arrive at Trail Head 19321 Mira Monte Rd, Tuolumne, CA 95379
1-5pm Start of Hike till Finish (Out and Back)
stopping half way to eat and pray.
5pm: Group and their carpools decide to return to St. Mels or eat somewhere on the way back.
*7:30pm* Possibly Arrive back at St. Mels
